The Centers are literally one-stop shopping – bringing Richmond’s many workforce development programs together into a single, customer-friendly, system. The Centers are there to help you find qualified workers. Recruitment services include:
- Labor Exchange services
- Interview facilities
- Matching and referral
- Job descriptions and task analysis
- Temporary or full-time staffing services
If you need help to start or grow your business, the Centers can provide:
- Access to Small Business Administration loans
- One-on-one business counseling
In addition, the Centers can assist you with developing your workforce by offering:
- Soft skills training
- Supervisory skills training
- Incumbent worker training
- Customized training.
And the Centers can provide you will a wide range of information about workforce issues, such as:
- Labor Market Information
- Tax credits
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

- City of Richmond Department of Economic Development

- Information regarding consultations on workplace accommodations for persons with disabilities
- Information on and referral to business start-up, retention and expansion services
- Information on and referral to sources for developing customized training programs
